Infant Feeding & Lactation Virtual Drop-In Group
Let It Be Birth is thrilled to be able to offer a regular virtual drop-in group for infant feeding and lactation support. All genders, family structures, feeding choices and people are welcome to attend this group.
July & August 2023 Group Times:
Meeting Location
In order to keep our littlest clients safe and healthy (especially during cold and flu season), we are only offering a virtual drop in groups. Access to our virtual waiting room can be found in the button at the bottom of this section. (You do not need to have zoom to access our virtual meeting room as we use Doxy.me, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform with easy access!)

This service is complimentary to current Let It Be Birth clients. Community members are all welcome to attend and there is a suggested donation of $15-$40 to Maria Pardo, BSN, RN, IBCLC. Maria's Venmo will be linked in the waiting room for the group. If you cannot afford the suggested donation, we still welcome you to attend and participate fully in this resource!

- Weaning decision making
- Pumping questions
- Returning to work, or preparing to leave baby
- Supply struggles - both oversupply and undersupply

Group Assistant Application
Are you a newer birth worker who is looking to gain more knowledge about lactation support, infant feeding and local feeding resources? We are looking for volunteers to help Maria with the group!
The duties include:

The duties include:
- Managing the virtual waiting room, letting members in as they arrive
- Monitoring the group chat and queueing the group's questions for Maria
- Sending resources and links to members inside the chat as needed
- Taking notes and copying down client contact information for Maria as needed
Assistant Requirements:
- Strong internet connection and computer access (this cannot be done from a phone)
- English language proficiency
- Sign and acknowledgement of Let It Be Birth, Perinatal Services, LLC's Beliefs Statement
- Sign Let It Be Birth, Perinatal Services, LLC's Confidentiality forms
- Ideally, we would like a commitment of 4-6 groups, and we do understand that many of or volunteer assistants will be on call for their own birth work. In the event that you need to cancel, we will cover your duties for you!
- Nice to have: Spanish language proficiency as we are hoping to launch our Spanish group in the fall!
