Why Work With a Doula Partnership?

Frequently Asked Questions How do I see if we are a good fit? Set up an interview with us! Click here for our Interested Client Form. Interviews and prenatal visits are currently being done via Zoom video chat for your safety and convenience. A scheduling link will be sent to you upon completion of the form linked above. After we've met and I have decided to hire you, what happens? A deposit of $500 is collected upon hire and you will be sent links to book the appointments for the first and second prenatal visits with your doulas. The remaining balance of $800 is collected at/after the second prenatal visit or around 37 weeks. You will also receive a digital copy of our Doula Contract to review and sign. What happens when I think I am in labor? We have one call number that will be provided to our clients so getting in touch with us is simple. The doula on call will help you navigate your early labor and help decide when to join you in labor for more hands on support. The doula will be with you, working through your contractions and helping you navigate through your labor until the birth of your baby. After your baby is born, the doula will remain with you for at least the first hour postpartum. After the birth, is there a postpartum visit? The doula who primarily attended your birth will come to do your postpartum visit about 1-2 weeks after your baby's birth and you will have access to that same call number in the event that any questions arise during your postpartum time. Additional 60-minute postpartum check-in visits over zoom can be added at no additional cost at any time. *PLEASE read our COVID policies to learn about changes |
