Hi, my name is Idara (aka Kathryn), and I am a Nigerian-American certified postpartum doula based in Seattle, WA! Before stepping into this work, I spent two years as a digital designer, but I quickly realized this wasn't where my passion was. I took time to reflect on my values and interests, and it became clear that I was always drawn to medicine and I’ve long been an advocate for mental health.
As someone who has been through my fair share of childhood trauma, I understand how crucial those early years are in shaping who we become. Every child deserves a strong foundation of love, support, and security so they can grow into the best versions of themselves. Of course, parenthood is complex, and every family’s journey looks different. That’s why I’m here to help families feel empowered, informed, and supported as they navigate their own unique path.
