Idara Onofiok (she/her)
Postpartum Doula
About Idara:
Idara is a postpartum doula who is deeply passionate about supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. She has spent over five years working with mothers, children, and families in community-based settings, where she witnessed firsthand the powerful impact that consistent, compassionate support can have during the postpartum period. These experiences led her to pursue postpartum doula work as a way to more intentionally support families during one of life’s most tender and transformative transitions.
Idara believes that the early years play a crucial role in shaping who we become, and that every child deserves a strong foundation of love, support, and security. She also understands that parenthood is complex and deeply personal, and that no two families’ journeys look the same. Her approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and meeting families exactly where they are, with the goal of helping parents feel empowered, informed, and supported as they navigate their unique path.
Outside of her work as a doula, Idara enjoys spending time crocheting, roller skating and spending time outdoors.
