Elsie Walles-McConaughey (she/her)
Postpartum Doula
About Elsie:
Elsie is a birth and postpartum doula in the Seattle area who has had the opportunity to support over 50 families during this exciting and tender time in their lives. She has been fascinated by birth for as long as she can remember, and felt called to pursue doula work several years ago after transitioning out of nonprofit work. She is a firm believer that YOU are the best expert on your baby and your body– she is there to be a support, guide, and resource as you navigate this season. She loves watching families gain confidence as they get to know their babies. Her doula practice is grounded in reproductive justice, trauma-informed care, equity, and community.
Elsie lives north of Seattle with her spouse and their two kitties. In her free time, you can find her watching movies, going on walks, reading, participating in local community theatre, and maybe even tap dancing.
