Cori Hartunian (she/her)
Postpartum Doula

About Cori:

Picture
Her path into birth work began long before she officially became a doula. When she was in high school, her mother was working as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), and being around that work sparked both comfort and curiosity about the world of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Seeing families supported during such tender moments planted the early seeds for what would eventually become her life’s work.

In her younger years, she also spent time traveling and living on farms and homesteads, experiences that shaped her connection to community, land, and traditional ways of caring for one another. During that time she apprenticed with herbalists and explored a variety of healing modalities, including energy work, deepening her understanding of holistic care and the many ways people can be supported through life’s transitions.

She formally began working as a doula in 2014, initially supporting families as a birth doula. It quickly became clear that the care she wanted to offer extended across the full spectrum of pregnancy experiences. Since then, her work has grown to include support through birth, postpartum, miscarriage, and abortion—honoring the many paths and outcomes that pregnancy can hold.

Her love for this work eventually led her back to school to pursue becoming a midwife, allowing her to deepen her skills and continue expanding the ways she can serve families.

At the heart of her work is a belief that no one should have to move through these experiences alone. She feels honored to offer the kind of presence and support that communities once held as part of everyday life—the care of a village. She hopes to show up for families with warmth, deep listening, and attentiveness, always striving to be present and truly attuned to each family’s unique needs.
