Araenae is a postpartum doula who has spent her career supporting families as a nanny, Newborn Care Specialist, postpartum doula, and rotational nanny, and she is drawn to this work because she believes every parent deserves to feel cared for, capable, and supported in the early weeks. She brings a calm, grounded presence to the home, offering practical support that helps the whole household feel more steady—whether that means newborn care education, feeding support, soothing techniques, light baby-related household help, or simply creating space for parents to rest and recover. With a strong background in newborn care (including preemies, multiples, and families with unique needs), she supports parents in building confidence through gentle guidance, reassurance, and realistic routines that align with their values. She is also a Certified Lactation Educator through Evergreen Perinatal Education, adding another layer of informed support for feeding and early postpartum care.
Araenae is known for being warm, respectful, and easy to have in the home, adapting her approach to each family’s preferences while keeping the focus on what will truly help in the moment. She values clear communication, a peaceful environment, and care that feels both supportive and practical—especially during the emotional and physically demanding postpartum season. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews (whose birthdays all fall within about six weeks each year—this year they turned 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2). Araenae enjoys listening to audiobooks (especially fantasy and sci-fi), cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and relaxing with creative hobbies like knitting and quilting. She also loves hiking and exploring national parks whenever she can. Families appreciate that she brings both competence and kindness to the postpartum experience—offering steady support, encouragement, and a reassuring calm during a season that can feel both beautiful and overwhelming.
