Complete Childbirth Education Classes
Instructor: Kate Rollins CD(DONA)
We are proud to offer Childbirth Education classes taught by Kate Rollins CD(DONA)! Kate is a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Lactation Educator. This 6 week series is based on the Confident Birthing Curriculum by Kyndal May of Baby Bump Services, and it works in some techniques from the popular Birth Zone classes by Liz Chalmers. Kate's electric energy in the classroom is sure to keep everyone engaged, laughing and learning! You don't want to miss this! She has taught over 150 couples since beginning teaching in 2010.
This course prepares couples for an unmedicated birth and is geared towards those planning to birth at home, birthing center or hospital. This class has a "squat and get it done" philosophy and believe in the normalcy of labor pain and the process of birth. Kate strives to instill confidence in mothers and partners to trust in their ability to birth their babies.
