Birthing Tub Rentals (limited availability)
Rental Information
We have access to two tubs that we rent out for a fee to use at your birth. Hydrotherapy is an excellent tool to use in labor to help mothers relax and to help ease the pain of labor. Waterbirth is an option at home births but not in hospitals in our area, though the presence of the tub for the intense parts of labor can be useful!
Each tub is made available to the family before their due date, typically at 38 weeks and comes as a complete set with hoses for filling, a disposable plastic liner, an air pump for inflating/deflating and a water pump for draining.

La Bassine Pool - $75 fee
The La Bassine tub is a smaller tub, perfect for a homebirth with limited space, or for a hospital delivery at Evergreen, Overlake or Northwest.
Birth Pool Eco - $100 fee
This is the tub we recommend for homebirthing families or for women delivering at a hospital with ample space in the birthing room (ie. UW or Swedish - First Hill).
